Ultra rare 1968 Audi 60L Coupe Originally from Germany and then made its way to the UK, over its journey its been expertly maintained and well looked after. There are only 3 Audi 60's listed in the UK and this is a real testament to how rare these are, it's something that doesn't come along very often and we are very proud to present this from our collection. Mileage is unverified but from our understanding it is around 40,000 miles. Presented in Royal Red with beautiful hounds tooth cloth, original Clarion radio, cast dash and Bakelite switches. The 4 cylinder F103 engine is a 1.5l Daimler-Benz block that was developed for the newly formed "Audi" following the merger of the Auto Union, NSU and DKW brands. The 4 speed manual transmission, inboard brakes and clutch are all in superb running condition and are as clean as the body. Its thin-pillared, glassy cabin and a wide, headlamp-enveloping grille established a visual signature for Audi that would persist for decades, as did the clean, almost delicate design language which can be seen down each body line.
